Bundle Dye Workshop - Sat 15th April 2023 12.30pm

A natural dye experience With Samantha Russell from Tens Studio using a contemporary “bundle-dye” technique, to extract colour from flower petals and plant materials to create incredible “dreamscape” style textile prints. 

You will learn to use a simple bind + steam dyeing technique and set colours using only natural materials, as part of a non-toxic creative practice. Create your own eco-printed 100% Cotton pillowcase and pair of socks, whilst the bundles steam you will be taken on a foraging walking tour of the local area discussing plants and flowers in our local area and their dying properties. 

A 100% cotton pillow case and pair of socks will be provided and included in the ticket price, along with complimentary refreshments and all dye materials.

The workshop starts at 12:30 pm and lasts up to 2 hours, This is not a particularly messy class, however, please wear something comfortable that you are okay with getting messy, or if you want to bring an apron you are welcome to.
