Even without COVID, this time of year is rife with sore throats. Whether it's a lingering cold or the result of partying a bit too hard, this DIY cough syrup is simple to make and so so soothing.
All you need is:
200ml pineapple juice
Juice of one fresh lemon
3' crushed fresh ginger
1 tbsp raw honey
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Pop it all in a blender and whizz it up, or give it a good blast in a cocktail shaker
Need an extra kick? Try it warm with a splash of whisky.
