I was invited to go on a little trip last month to beautiful Italy with the Peroni gang. They are launching a new pre-dinner aperitivo drink and we are launching the fact we ahem love a tipple and all things Italian (being as my family hail from Puglia).
This was a chance for Peroni to take some inspiration from us and the scents, flavours and textures we are naturally drawn to in order to create a unique cocktail with their new fruit beer Peroni Ambra. We were taken to a beautiful chinotto (a rare Italian citrus fruit from Liguria) growing farm in North West Italy to check the ingredients out right from the source.
We were paired up with the lovely Federico Doldi from Chiltern Firehouse to create our cocktail inspired by the Chinotto!
Trust us when we say it's DELICIOUS.
