Think February means grey and grim? Stop right there! With their nodding blooms and antique charm, hellebores are the stars of the late Winter/early Spring garden.

Easy as. These are usually bought as plants, hellebores are hardy perennials so they'll come back each year without you doing much to them. Most of evergreen too, so even if not in flower you'll have some nice foliage to enjoy.

FUN FACT

According to some sources, hellebores were a key ingredient for witches, used to make flying ointments. Don't try this at home.
