PLANT PORN: YARROW

THE DEETS

Yarrow aka achillea is a wildflower that grows in abundance everywhere from feathery meadows to cracks in Hackney pavements. In the wild, it's typically a cool off-white with fuzzy green foliage but it has been cultivated to grow in a plethora of stunning colours, and is a firm Grace & Thorn favourite in the summertime.

RATING

Born to be WILD. But cultivated varieties will be very happy in your garden too.

WE LIKE

‘Achillea Parker' - a hardy little yellow number that dries out A TREAT.

BONUS ROUND

This wild beauty has a bunch of health benefits too, used historically for it's astringent properties to treat wounds as well as for general aches and pains. We like it in Moa's Fortifying Green Bath Potion when we need a little pepping up.
