WHAT DO I NEED?

SOIL

London has loads of clay soil - perfect. Otherwise you can add a little clay powder to get it sticky.

SEEDS

For quick satisfaction choose annuals (they’ll spring up this year): cornflowers, poppies, cosmos, nigella, yellow rattle (this one is great for keeping back the grass)…

If you’re playing the long game add perennials and biennials (will give you flower next year): hollyhocks, honesty, foxgloves, field scabious…

THEN?

- Add water to your soil and roll into a ball

- Shove your thumb in

- Drop a pinch of seeds into your thumb hole

- Smooth over so your seeds are secure in your bomb

THROW!!!
