8 Unusual Bouquets with Next Day UK Delivery

Search for next day flowers and you get roughly the same bouquet forty times. Pink roses, white lilies, a spray of something small and apologetic, all wrapped in brown paper so it looks artisan. It will arrive on time and nobody will remember it.

If the person you are sending to deserves better than that, these are eight unusual bouquets we can get to almost any UK address tomorrow. Every one is made by hand in our East London studio and sent with next day flower delivery for a flat £16.

1. The Wes

A bouquet named after a film director is not a normal thing to find on a florist's website. The Wes is our homage to Wes Anderson, built around the ombre yellows and burgundies his films made famous. It looks like a still from a film, with better lighting than most living rooms deserve. Send it to the friend who owns a record player. From £86.

2. Smoke on the Water

Most bouquets try to be cheerful. Smoke on the Water is all nudes and smokey tones, gathered in our wild, off-beat style, with nothing stiff or matchy about it. It is the bouquet for people whose homes are painted in colours with names like Mole's Breath. From £96.

3. Keep it Green

A bouquet with no flowers in it. Keep it Green uses leaves, stems and greenery to play with tone and texture, and it is a statement piece for the alternative bouquet lover. It also solves the problem of what to send someone who finds flowers a bit much. From £65.

4. High & Dry

This one never needs water. High & Dry is our everlasting arrangement, made entirely from dried seasonal flowers and grasses. No wilting, no vase to top up, just months of colour and texture on a shelf or table. It is the obvious choice for anyone who travels a lot, or who has form for forgetting. £100.

5. Walk On The Wild Side

A favourite with our regulars, Walk On The Wild Side is daring and extravagant, bursting with clashing colours and texture. Florists are usually taught to make colours agree with each other. This bouquet ignores that on purpose, and it is the better for it. From £60.

6. (What's the Story) Morning Glory

Morning Glory arrives already arranged in a pickle jar, so it goes from the box to the table in about ten seconds. That makes it a strong pick for new homes, new jobs and new babies. Anyone who is too busy to go looking for a vase will thank you. From £96.

7. The Whole of the Moon

Lush, open flowers in vibrant tones, put together in combinations you would not expect. The Whole of the Moon is the most generous-looking bouquet on this list, and it is the one to choose for a big birthday or a proper thank you. From £86.

8. A monthly flower subscription

The most unusual thing you can send is a bouquet that keeps turning up. Our monthly flower subscription delivers a different seasonal arrangement every month for 3, 6 or 12 months, anywhere in the UK. One order covers a quarter of a year of remembering. From £181 for three months.

How next day flower delivery works

Order by 1pm and your bouquet goes out for delivery the next day, Tuesday to Saturday. We deliver across the UK mainland, so it makes no difference whether you need flower delivery in Manchester, Edinburgh or Bristol. The price is the same £16. The only places we cannot reach are the Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Scilly Isles.

Flowers travel in hydrating gel, which keeps them drinking all the way there. Because we use whatever is best that week, the exact stems will vary, and no two bouquets are ever quite the same. If you want to know what the studio is working with right now, our guide to seasonal bouquets has the current list.

Sending within the capital? You can have most of these the same day with same day flower delivery in London.

Send something they will remember

Forty identical bouquets are still out there if you want one. If you would rather send the one they photograph and text you about, order flowers online from Grace & Thorn before 1pm and we will send it out for next day delivery.
