How Not to Kill Your String of Hearts.
Heartbreak is easily avoided with this easy, easy plant. It is prone to rot, though, so if you see yellow leaves, your baby is too wet. To avoid this sad ending, give it enough drink to drench the soil, but allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again. It goes dormant in winter, so water even less frequently then. These guys are vulnerable to pest attacks so keep a watchful eye.
Back to the Roots.
These guys were discovered hanging from rocks at an altitude of 1800 feet so loves to hang out in full sunshine. Give it enough drink to drench the soil but let it dry out before you give it another, it doesn’t like to be too wet as it can get rot. Cut back on the drink over winter. It tolerates temperature changes and high humidity, so it's perfect for a bathroom.
