These tough’uns are here for the heat NOT the light so don’t go homing them on your window sills and sunny kitchen tables. Also, as tough as they are make sure those leaves aren’t actually flopping over your hobs, that’s asking too much.

Sansevieria cylindrica - or ‘Mother-in-law’s-tongue’, is in all our gaffs because, contrary to the label this beauty doesn’t spit poison it sucks it up! That’s right, that tongue licks up carbon monoxide and filters big nasties including formaldehyde and benzene - get it in your gaff.
