GREEN UP YOUR GAFF

...LIFE IN THE OLD DOG YET

11th January 2019

Words by Jessica Peace

Well last week we poked our plants about to see whether they’d actually kicked the bucket or not. But if there’s still life the old pot plant yet then give it some lovin’.

A CHEEKY FERTILISE

‘The time has come to… FERTILISE

It’s generally frowned upon to fertilise in January but if your plant is on its knees and beggin’ for it then give it a cheeky feed. That particularly knackered plant only needs one liquid lunch this January then serve again when it perks up and puts on some growth.

SPRING CLEAN (NOW)

Been neglecting your plant mates? It’s time to say ‘SORRY!!!’ - and get your rubber gloves on. Feather duster to the foliage, fresh compost, snip off the dead and diseased bits, kick out any gatecrashing pests and move it into a bigger pot if it’s asking for it.
