This one's got only a lot going for it. Not only is it the Queen's fave, legend has it that the flower sprang from Eve's tears when she was cast out from the Garden of Eden - blimey!
Found growing natively in multiple continents, it holds significance to lots of different cultures. It's been the national flower of Finland since the 60s and was the emblem of Yugoslavia. They've even got a whole day for it in France!
Dedications to the flower go beyond nationhood, Queen have a particularly heartfelt number named for it.
Whilst beloved for its sweet-scented, and delicate flowers, it can also be deadly, causing abdominal pain, blurred vision, drowsiness, and reduced heart rate if ingested, as you the Breaking Bad fans amongst you will recall from when Walt poisons Brock to turn Jesse against Gus Fring.
