RUBBIN' IT IN

Words by Jessica Peace

So, the gate is done and we can stop bangin’ on after one last look at our fave geranium offering - oil.

Here’s how to make it. You’re welcome.

Choose your scented geranium, we like Pelargonium 'Citronella' as it tells mosquitos to F’ off; P. 'Lemon Fancy' for citrus flava and P.'Attar of Roses' - you get the picture.

Grab a fist full of petals and give ‘em a bit of a rub before popping them in a jar.

Choose an unscented oil - grapeseed is cheap and will do the trick, cover your petals.

Screw your lid down and whack in a sunny spot.

Leave for a week.

Strain and throw in another fistful - lid, leave.

Repeat for 5 weeks - Wa laa! Rub it all over (well, steady on.)
